Photograph inscribed and signed: "For Imogene Schneider/Good luck/Robert Stack". B/w 8x10. Robert Stack (1919-2003) is best known for his portrayal of Treasury Agent Eliot Ness, fighting crime in Chicago of the 1930s, in the popular TV series, The Untouchables (1959-1963). Stack's other TV successes included Unsolved Mysteries, which he hosted from 1987 to 2002. His 60 years in feature films included an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Written on the Wind (1956). Corners creased. Pencil note (unknown hand) and adhesive residue on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
