Front of postcard features a landscape shot of Macerata. Roberto P. Alemann (b.1922) was a
lawyer and economist who served as the Minister of Treasury and Public Finances from
April 1961 to January 1962, and again from December 1981 to June 1982. In 1947, he
graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a Law Degree. After receiving a
Doctorate in the social sciences, Alemann went on to co-found the Argentine Association
of Political Economy in 1957 and worked in varying capacities in both the public and private
sectors until retiring from economic work to function as managing editor of the paper his
parents established: Argentinisches Tageblatt. Corners and edges worn. Otherwise, fine
