Film and TV actress Robin Curtis (born in 1956), who made her feature film debut in 1981 in Ghost Story, is perhaps best known for her role as Lieutenant Saavik in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986). She also played Tallera/T'Paal on the TV series, Star Trek: The Next Generation (1993), making her one of only 32 actors and actresses to have appeared in both an original Star Trek vehicle and a spin-off. Curtis, whose other feature film credits include Hexed (1993), Babyfever (1994), Hostile Intentions (1994), Dark Breed (1996), Scorpio One (1997) and Making Contact, has also appeared in made-for-TV movies, including First Affair (1983) and LBJ: The Early Years (1987, as Jacqueline Kennedy), had a recurring role on the daytime soap, General Hospital (1991), and has been a guest star in a long list of TV series, from Knight Rider in 1983 to 7th Heaven in 1997.
