Inscribed photograph signed: "To my friend Fred-/Best
wishes/Always/Rod" in black ink. 10x8. Rod Alexander (1920-1992) was
an American actor and choreographer, born Rod Alexander Burke. He was married to
his dancing partner, Bambi Linn, who performed in the 1945 Broadway production
of "Carousel". Alexander would go on to choreograph the film version in
1956. Some of his other choreography credits include The Best Things in
Life are Free (1956), three episodes of The Hollywood Palace and
multiple TV movies. He also choreographed the musicals, "Shinbone Alley" and
"13 Daughters". Fine condition.
