Australian tennis star Rod "Rocket" Laver (b. 1938) was the first to win the sport's Grand Slam of four top tournaments more than once (1962 and 1969). Tennis's top-ranked player six years in a row, Laver was enshrined in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1981. An Australian postage stamp bears his image, and Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne is named for him. Corners lightly worn. Fine condition.
