Artists. ROD STEIGER (1925-2002) was awarded the 1967 Academy Award
for Best Actor for his portrayal of a well-meaning but prejudiced Southern
sheriff in In the Heat of the Night. He also received Oscar
nominations in 1954 (Best Supporting Actor, On the Waterfront) and
1965 (Best Actor, The Pawnbroker). From 1959-1969, he was married to
actress Claire Bloom. They co-starred in the 1969 films, Three Into Two
Won't Go and The Illustrated Man. Steiger's other film credits
include Oklahoma! (1955), The Longest Day (1962), Doctor
Zhivago (1965), Lucky Luciano (1974), W.C. Fields and Me
(1976), The Amityville Horror (1979), American Gothic (1987),
The Player (1992) and Mars Attacks! (1996). Corners and margins
creased and soiled. Tack holes at top center and lower right margin. Paper tape
reinforcement on verso at center top. 3 random tack holes at left section.
