May 13, 1975, running for 108 performances. Over 90 songs from the Rodgers &
Hart repertoire were performed. Internet Broadway Database lists all cast
members as Performer without identifying which numbers each sang. BARBARA
ANDRES (b. 1939) appeared in 10 Broadway plays (1969-2004), including
supporting roles in On Golden Pond, Kiss of the Spider Woman and
Cabaret. JIMMY BRENNAN made 9 Broadway performances (1974-1997),
including 42nd Street, Little Me and Crazy for You. This
play was the second of three Broadway shows for WAYNE BRYAN, sandwiched
between Good News (1974) and Tintypes (1981). It was the first of
five visits to the Great White Way for JAMIE DONNELLY, whose other shows
included George M and Grease. MARY SUE FINNERTY would
follow this show with an appearance in Happy New Year (1980). LAURENCE
GUITTARD was seen on Broadway seven times (1965-1992), including starring
roles as Curly in Oklahoma! and Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha.
JIM LITTEN can boast 6 Broadway shows, including A Chorus Line and
Zorba. Perhaps the biggest star among these signers is TOVAH
FELDSHUH (b. 1952),s a four-time Tony nominee for Yentil
(1976), Saravà (1979), Lend Me a Tenor (1989) and Golda's
Balcony (2004). She has also starred in the TV miniseries
Holocaust (1978). Active in civic affairs, Feldshuh has won the
Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award and the Israeli Government
Friendship Award. Altogether, the signers here represent a sampling of stars
from Broadway's biggest hit musicals of recent decades. Lightly toned at edges.
Otherwise, fine condition.
