Autograph Document Signed in Text: "Roger De Koven", 1 page, 8½x11. On a printed form titled Biography File for Theatre World, he has supplied personal and professional details in his own hand. Roger De Koven (1907-1988) made his Broadway debut in the 1926 production of Juarez and Maximillian. Since then, he has been featured in productions of The Assassin (1945), Tovarich (1963), and Strider (1980). Some of his television and film credits include Up Front (1951), the television series The Detectives (1961), the television series I Spy (1967), and the 1986 film Sieze the Day. Theatre World, first published in 1945, is America's oldest annual record of Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional theatre, referenced by industry professionals, historians, students and theatre fans worldwide. The publication, which bestows its own Theatre World Awards, itself received a Tony for Excellence in Theatre in 2001. Normal mailing folds. Lightly toned. Photograph attached at top right face.
