Photograph signed: "All the best/Roger Moore". Color, 8x9¾. Shown in the first of his seven
James Bond films, Live and Let Die. On screen for half a century, Roger Moore (1927-2017)
starred in several television shows, including Ivanhoe (1958-1959), The Persuaders
(1971-1972) and, most famously, The Saint (1962-1969). He was cast as James Bond in
seven films, from Live and Let Die (1973) to A View to a Kill (1985). The third man to
portray Bond behind only Sean Connery and George Lazenby, his take on the role is one of
the more popular ones. Moore titled his autobiography My Word is My Bond (2008). Later
in life, Moore frequently served as a documentary narrator. Sadly, Moore was the first man to
portray 007 to pass away, at least as far as the “official” Eon film productions. Fine condition.
