Photograph unsigned. B/w, 7¼x9¼. Veteran broadcast journalist Roger Mudd (1928-2021)
spent 19 years at CBS, serving as a Congressional and national affairs correspondent, before
moving to NBC as Chief of its Washington Bureau, chief political correspondent and
co-anchor of Nightly News. Mudd, a former English and history teacher, then brought his
expertise to The MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour (1987-1992) on PBS before joining The
History Channel, a division of the A&E Television Networks, upon its inception. Mudd
retired from full-time broadcasting in 2004 but continues to work with The History Channel
on documentaries. Corners creased. Adhesive residue at upper right corner. Paper loss on verso
