ROGERS MORTON
The U.S. Secretary of the Interior sends his thanks to an aide at the National Environmental Research Center, signs his name in black ink

Addressed to Mr. Ernie Minor of the National Environmental Research Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. In full: "The fine work you did in preparation for my visit to Cincinnati, certainly paid off. Everything went so smoothly. In fact, thanks to your efforts, we received the royal treatment. I especially wish to thank you for the invitation I received from Frank Dale. It was a delightful afternoon and I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation. With kindest regards. Yours sincerely". Rogers C.B. Morton (1907-1982), also a former Congressman (representing Kentucky, 1947-1953) and Chairman of the Republican National Committee (1959-1961) as well as a Republican U.S. Senator from Kentucky (1957-1968).
