ink, 3½x2 card. Roland Victor Libonati (1900-1991) was born in Chicago,
Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I and graduated from
Northwestern University Law School in 1924. He practiced law in Chicago,
Illinois and was a member of the Illinois State House of Representatives
(1930-1934, 1940-1942) and State Senate (1942-1947). Libonati was
elected to the U.S. House of Representatives to fill the seat caused by the
death of James B. Bowler. A Democrat from Illinois, he served from December 31,
1957 to January 3, 1965. Fine condition.
