Photograph signed: "Michael Douglas", "Kathleen/Turner". MICHAEL DOUGLAS, the son of actors Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill, had a starring TV role on The Streets of San Francisco (1972-1976), partnering with Karl Malden, who became his lifelong friend and mentor. In 1975, Douglas won an Oscar as producer of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. He would score another Oscar as Best Actor twelve years later for Wall Street. He produced and starred in Romancing the Stone in 1984 and in its sequel, Jewel of the Nile the following year. Among Douglas' other noted films are Fatal Attraction, Falling Down, The American President and Wonder Boys. He has been married since 2000 to actress Catherine Zeta-Jones; they have two children, and co-hosted the Nobel Peace Prize concert in 2000. KATHLEEN TURNER made a sizzling film debut as femme fatale Matty Walker in Body Heat (1981). She won a Golden Globe for Romancing the Stone, and would make two more successful films with that film's co-stars Michael Douglas and Danny DeVito (Jewel of the Nile and The War of the Roses). Her other notable films include Prizzi's Honor (second Golden Globe, 1986) and Peggy Sue Got Married (Oscar nomination, 1986). Afflicted with debilitating rheumatoid arthritis in the 1990s, Turner found new success as a stage actress (winner of two Tony awards) when the disease went into remission. She earned rave reviews as Maggie in a Broadway revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Color 8x10. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
