Actress and singer ROMINA POWER (b. 1951) started out appearing in small Italian language films as a teenager in the 1960s; it was during this time that she met Albano Carrisi. After the couple married, they started a singing duo in 1975. The pair became well known throughout Europe and Latin America. The couple's daughter Ylenia Maria Sole went missing in New Orleans in 1994, and has never been heard from since, while their other children went on to perform on Italian reality television. Power divorced Carrisi in 1999 and changed career paths, becoming a painter. She has since had exhibitions in 2006 and 2007 in Milan. ALBANO "AL BANO" CARRISI (b. 1943) is an Italian singer and celebrity best known for the years he spent singing with his wife Romina Power. Carrisi also enjoyed a moderate successful solo career and has recorded songs such as "Una furtive lagrima","Va, pensiero", and "Ave Maria". Interestingly, Carrisi appeared on L'isola dei Famosi in 2005, the Italian equivalent of Survivor. Normal mailing folds. Light surface creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
