in blue ink. Blue ink notations in unknown hand. 2 pages, 6x8½, 1 sheet, front
and verso. With 6¼x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy with perforated left
edge stapled at top edge. April 16, 1964. Membership form for the
American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Ron "Crash" Wilson
(1922-1978), whose legal name was Robert J. Wilson, was an automotive
stuntman. From 1957 to 1978 he performed crash stunts at automobile
races, often times with his wife and partner, Jane Truax. They performed
such stunts as bus jumps, head on collisions, and crashing through walls of ice.
Lightly toned and creased. Receipt has and carbon copy marks and was folded once
and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
