GREEN BAY PACKERS: RON KRAMER, JIM TAYLOR and WILLIE DAVIS
Magazine Photographs signed: "Ron Kramer", "Jim/Taylor" and "Willie Davis". B/w, 8½x11. Each has signed on their respective photo. Taken from the Green Bay Packers 1962 Yearbook captioned: "The frenzied ear-flapped fans". RON KRAMER (1935-2010) was a tight end with the Packers in 1957. After serving in the Air Force, he returned to the Packers in 1959. A strong blocker, Kramer was also a sure-handed receiver. He played for two NFL champions in Green Bay and starred in their 37-0 victory over the Giants in the 1961 title game. He was named an All-Pro by the AP in 1962. A Grambling University graduate, Hall of Famer (1981) WILLIE DAVIS (1934-2020) made All-Pro five times during the Packers' glory years in the 1960s. The defensive lineman played in six NFL title games and the first two Super Bowls, winning all but one of those games. He never missed even one of the 162 games during his 12-year career, retiring in 1969 with 21 fumble recoveries, one shy of the record at the time. JIM TAYLOR, inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 1976, was a 1,000-yard rusher for five straight years (1960-1964). In his career, he has rushed for 8597 yards, caught 225 passes, amassed 10,538 combined net yards and scored 558 points. Taylor led the NFL in rushers and scorers and had a record 19 TDs in 1962. He was a ferocious runner, rugged blocker and a prime disciple of the "run to daylight" doctrine. He was with the Packers from 1958-1966. Signatures light but legible. Irregular edge due to removal from book. Fine condition.
