Autograph letter unsigned, 2 pages, 5½x6¾. Beverly Hills, California.  To "Dear Mr. Belasco," in full: "Not only are you rich but impossible to find in the evening hours.  No doubt you are in rehearsal by now and Paramus is either sold out or has been turned back into a Bowling Alley. Lynne and I enjoyed your play but unfortunately we will be busy in Tinsel City until about Oct. 10.  So, we wish to thank you for your thoughts and wish you the nest with your play. Lavin and Leibman and let me Be Lonely. (Alfred & Lynne)." Stage, screen and television actor Ron Leibman (1937-2019), who made his Broadway debut in 1963, won an Obie Award for Transfers and a New York Drama Desk Award for We Bombed in New Haven (he would return to Broadway in 1993, winning a Tony Award for Angels in America). After appearing in several made-for-TV movies and feature films, including Slaughterhouse Five (1972) and The Super Cops (1973), Leibman created, co-wrote and starred in the short-lived TV series, Kaz (1978-1979). His other film credits include Norma Rae (1979), Zorro, the Gay Blade (1981), Phar Lap (1984) and Rhinestone (1985), and Leibman has also appeared in recurring roles on Friends (as Rachel's father, Dr. Leonard Green, 1996, 2001, 2004) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2001). He has also made guest appearances on several other TV series. Leibman, who was married to actress Linda Lavin from 1969-1981, has been married to actress Jessica Walter since 1983. Leon Belasco (1902-1988) was musically trained and was first violinist for the Tokyo Symphony. He began his film career in 1929 and became a favorite comic Russian and also played well in WWII and Cold War espionage roles.
