Signatures: "Rona Anderson", "John Blythe" and "Pet Clark", 6¼x5¼ album leaf.CLARK, born in Ewell, Surrey, England in 1932, was "discovered" by American audiences thanks to her 1965 hit recording Downtown which led to other song smashes like Don't Sleep in the Subway and I Know a Place. She appeared in the musical films Finian's Rainbow (1968) and Goodbye, Mr. Chips (1969). Clark returned to film in the kid-oriented confection Never Never Land (1980); and in the early 1990s she starred on Broadway in the musical Blood Brothers. She was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1998. ANDERSON, born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1926, is a Scottish actress. She made her show business debut in a 1945 stage revival of Peg O' My Heart. After several years with the Glasgow Citizens Theatre, she made her move to the silver screen in Sleeping Car to Trieste (1948). This was the first of almost 40 movies and TV shows for Anderson. Always on the brink of stardom, Anderson became a character actor who landed such roles as Miss Lockhart in The Prime of Miss Brodie (1969). BLYTHE (1921-1993, born in London, England) was an English stage, TV and movie actor. He had almost 60 movies and TV shows to his credit, including many guest star roles on The Wednesday Play (1965) and Dixon of Dock Green (1963-1972). Lightly toned, soiled, stained, creased and rippled. Neatly torn from album on left edge. Folded in quarters and unfolded. Otherwise, fine condition.
