Villa Devereux, a home that he had built for his family in Bailiwick of Jersey

Titled “The VILLA DEVEREUX / JERSEY / a dream come true”. Published in
1984.This 20-page pamphlet was a souvenir item that supported The
Communicare Centre, St. Brelade, Jersey. Features full-color and b/w
photographs of the home that the inventor designed himself. Ron Hickman
(1932-2011) is an inventor best known for the Black & Decker Workmate
workbench (tens of millions of units have been sold worldwide). With Colin
Chapman, the owner of Lotus, he also designed the Lotus Elite (1957), Elan
(1963) and Europa. Hickman was awarded the OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in
1994. Fine condition.
