Sale Price $306.00
Signed cover of her Christmas CD
CD Case signed: "Ronnie/Spector/XXX", 5½x5. Her compact disc, Ronnie Spector's Best Christmas Ever, recording included. Ronnie Spector (b. 1943) was lead singer of the 1960s pop group, the Ronettes. Spector, who had made her first records at age 13 with the group, recorded such hits as the Grammy-nominated "Walking in the Rain", "Do I Love You", "The Best Part of Breaking Up", "Baby I Love You" and the international No. 1 hit, "Be My Baby". The No. 1 pop group in England, Spector and the Ronettes headlined over such groups as the Yardbirds and Rolling Stones, and were personally asked by the Beatles to join them on their final American tour. In 1970, Spector became the only American vocalist backed by all four Beatles on her George-Harrison produced single, "Try Some, Buy Some". In addition to a successful solo career, Spector has also recorded with such artists as Jimi Hendrix, Alice Cooper, Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Money (their 1986 duet, "Take Me Home Tonight" was a multiple-nominated Grammy Award hit). She was married to notorious Motown record producer Phil Spector from 1968 to 1974, and blames Phil's jealousy and controlling temperament for limiting her career. She entered the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. Fine condition.
