24x19½ printed limited edition 315 of 500 image of the Montgomery, Alabama seamstress and member of the NAACP, who precipitated the Montgomery bus boycott when she refused to give up her seat to a white passenger.

Limited Edition, numbered 315 of 500.Captioned: "The Mentor". Montage of images of the Montgomery, Alabama seamstress and member of the NAACP, who precipitated the Montgomery bus boycott when she refused to give up her seat to a white passenger. Rosa Parks (1913-2005), the "Mother of the Civil Rights Movement", is pictured with Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., the then virtually unknown President of the Montgomery Improvement Association, who led the 381-day boycott. After Parks' death in 2005, her body lay in state in the U.S. Capitol, the 31st American (ten were U.S. Presidents) and first woman to be so honored.
