album leaf. Rose Hobart (1906-2000, born Rose Kefer in New York City)
moved from a starring stage role in Death Takes a Holiday (1929)
to a film debut in Liliom the next year. In Dr. Jekyll and Mr.
Hyde (1931), she played Jekyll's fiancé. She was often cast as
"the other woman," as in Bride of Vengeance (1949). Blacklisted in
the 1950s, she returned for several TV guest appearances in the late 1960s.
Lightly creased. Slightly toned around edges. Binding holes at left edge.
