In full: "The undersigned, being all the shareholders of MARO ENTERTAINMENT, INC. and representing in person or by proxy a sufficient number of shares to constitute a quorum, hereby agree and consent that a meeting of the shareholders of said corporation shall be held at 9454 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite M-11, Beverly Hills, California, on the last day of April, 1980, hereby waiving any other further notice of said meeting. WITNESS our signatures this 1st day of April, 1980." Rowan and Martin each had three shares in the corporation, which was named using the first two letters in Martin and Rowan. DAN ROWAN (1922-1987) and his partner DICK MARTIN (1922-2008) are best known as the zany hosts/performers on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (1968-1973), the wildly popular show that featured such performers as Ruth Buzzi, Goldie Hawn, Arte Johnson, Lily Tomlin and JoAnne Worley. The two had previously hosted The Dean Martin Summer Show (1966-1967) and appeared together in two films, Once Upon a Horse (1958) and The Maltese Bippy (1969). Rowan had been a Hollywood scriptwriter before he met Martin, a TV and film actor.
