He has drawn a human face with hat and mustache below his signature. Roy Hudd (1936-2020) starred in Britain's longest-running radio comedy series, The News Huddlines (1975-2001), featuring topical sketches. Besides numerous TV variety show appearances, he starred as a garbage collector in the series Common as Muck. His many TV guest spots include an undertaker on Corontion Street. He starred as Fagin in a West End revival of Oliver! and as the Wizard of Oz in a Royal Festival Hall production. Hudd is a leading authority on Britain's music hall history, and appeared in the revival show The Good Old Days. His CD, Mirth, Magic and Melodrama is a collection of classic music hall monologues.
