Raymond Bloom "Rube" Bressler (1894-1966) began his Major League baseball career with the 1914 Philadelphia A's as a left-handed pitcher, switching before the end of that decade to the outfield, and continuing to play big league ball through 1932 with the Cincinnati Reds, Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies. Batting right handed, he wound up with an impressive .301 lifetime batting average. Bressler played for two pennant winners - the '14 A's and the '19 Reds (the "Black Sox" Series). He played 11 of his 19 big league seasons (1917-1927) with the Reds, and retired to Cincinnati. Processing stamps. Cancelation marks. Creased from vertical fold. Otherwise, fine condition.
