RUDOLF FRIML. Musical Manuscript signed: "Rudolf Friml", 6p, 9½x11½. Headed: "'And Still I Love You':/Waltz Song". Original manuscript of the song, whose lyrics were written by Irving Caesar. This song was possibly written for Grace Moore, a noted opera and stage star. Prague-born composer Rudolf Friml (1879-1972), who came to the U.S. in 1906, is known for his operettas, which were produced on stage (including Broadway), by road companies and adapted to film. The best known of his 33 light operas are The Firefly (1912), Rose Marie (1924) and The Vagabond King (1925). Lightly soiled and stained, else fine condition.
