Commemorative Cover signed: "R. Schoenert/North Sea 1941-42", "Wilhelm Herget", "Robert Kowalewski" and "Hugo Dahmer", 6½x4¼. Kowalewski and Dahmer have added unit designations. Special Cover honoring Royal Air Force Squadron 617 (Scampton), the Avro Lancaster bomber. Postmarked Goose Airport, Newfoundland, December 3, 1950. 5-pence stamp affixed honors for (non-solo) non-stop transatlantic flight (1919). Identites and accomplishments of all signers are stamped on verso in German. Inside envelope are b/w photos of the signers and their aircraft. Lightly worn at corners. Fine condition.
