can assist your project in any way it is my pleasure". Accompanied by original
mailing envelope.
Type letter signed "Russ Gibson" in blue ink.1 page, 8½x11.
Brielle, New Jersey, July 10, 1984. Addressed to Todd Axelrod, Las
Vegas, Nevada. In full: "Dear Mr. Axelrod, If I can assist your
project in any way it is my pleasure. I really do not have much to offer but
inclosed [sic] you will find two programs [not included] that were
from my Dinner Theatre that is now defunct the plays Harry Washington and
WA,WA,WA,WA Watchocombie were written produced and directed by myself
which is really not that great of an accomplishment but if you can use it at all
be my guest. I wish you success with any of your future endeavors. Cordially
Yours Russ Gibson". Accompanied by: Original mailing envelope,
addressed in blue ink by unknown hand, postmarked Trenton, NJ, 1984. Gibson
is an actor, stage director and playwright. He was an actor in
Ragtime (1981) and on the soap opera Ryan's Hope. He also operated
MaryLee Productions, a New Jersey dinner theatre company. Letter is lightly
creased and has whited-out corrections. Envelope is lightly soiled and creased,
has been torn open on left edge and is folded in half. Otherwise in fine
condition.
