Actor Russ Tamblyn (born in 1934) was nominated for the Academy Award for
Best Supporting Actor for his role as Norman Page in Peyton Place
(1957). He had made his film debut in 1948's, The Boy With Green Hair,
and Tamblyn was seen as young Saul in Cecil B. DeMille's Biblical epic,
Samson and Delilah, the following year. A champion gymnast, acrobat and
singer, his breakout role came in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
(1954), and Tamblyn would star in his best known film role, Riff, the leader
of the Jets, in West Side Story in 1961. He has also appeared in a
number of made-for-TV movies and guest starred on several TV
series, including three episodes (2004) of Joan of Arcadia, which
starred his daughter, Amber Tamblyn. Lightly creased at blank margins and
corners. Minor surface creases (most not evident head on). Overall, fine
condition.
