RUSTY DRAPER
Handwritten note to interview host George Sanders
Autograph Note signed: "Thanks George/for a most relaxed and wonderful/time on "Sanders Meander. Much/more success - your pal/Rusty Draper", 7½x3. RUSTY DRAPER (1923-2003) was a country music singer who charted some pop successes too. His biggest crossover hits were "Gambler's Guitar" (1953) and "Seventeen" (1955). Draper's recordings continued to make the country charts in the 1960s, and he remained a popular concert draw. Radio/TV interview host George Sanders collected autographs from guests on his show. Lightly toned. Irregularly cut edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
