baseman Bando played 16 Major League seasons with the A's (in Kansas City

early 70s, he scored the winning run in Game 7 of the 1972 World Series and
(the deciding) Game 4 of the 1974 AL Championship series. He finished among
the top four vote getters for American League Most Valuable Player three

condition.
