(1904-1979), born Harriet Beck, was given her screen name by Cecil B. de

the Chicago World's Fair (1933) were a national sensation. Rand tantalized

quicker than the eye," she liked to say. She did her fan dance in the film
Bolero (1934). Conrad Thibault (1903-1987), an American baritone,
was popular on radio and in concerts throughout the 1930's and 1940's. Beginning

on stage. His hit records include "The House I live in" (1944), "Last
Roundup" (1933) and "It's only a Paper Moon" (1933). After his performance
career ended he taught voice at the Manhattan School of Music and the Palm Beach
Atlantic College. Ink notations at lower margin (unknown hand). Otherwise, fine
