With typed note above signature, in full: "WHICH ONE WRITES THE MUSIC CAHN OR VAN HEUSEN/IF YOU GUESSED CAHN BETTER KEEP CHOOSIN'" Lyricist Sammy Cahn (1913-1993) won Academy Awards for Best Song for "Three Coins in the Fountain" (1954), "All the Way" (1957), "High Hopes" (1959) and "Call Me Irresponsible" (1963). His Emmy came with "Love and Marriage" (1955). Among Cahn's many other songs are "Let It Snow" and "Come Fly With Me." Often collaborating with Jule Styne, he was a principal songwriter for Frank Sinatra. He is enshrined in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Irregular edges. Fine condition.
