Lee, who won the U.S. national title in both springboard and platform diving in 1942, put his athletic career on hiatus to earn his medical degree, but returned to diving in 1946, winning the U.S. national platform title. Although he retired from competitive diving in 1953, Lee remained involved with the sport, coaching the U.S. diving team in 1960 and coaching Greg Louganis to a silver medal in the platform event at the 1976 Olympics. Lee was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame in 1990. Pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso (no show-through). Fine condition.
