In full: "I think the idea expressed in your column today, of naming new movie theaters for stars who have passed on, is a splendid suggestion; and I will do everything I can to promote its favorable consideration by the motion picture industry. It is my intention to call your article to the attention of many of my friends in the exhibition end of the business who will shortly be concerned with construction plans for new theatres. I hope you will keep this campaign alive in your column, and if there is anything I can do to assist you in the realization of your idea, don't hesitate to call on me. Kindest regards." Goldwyn, who organized Goldwyn Pictures in 1917, merged with Louis B. Mayer's Metro Pictures to form Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1925. He is one of the few winners of both the Irving G.
