Samuel Friedel (1898-1979) was an American congressman who represented the 7th congressional district of Maryland from 1953 until 1971. A Democrat, Friedel served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1935-1939, and later served as a member of the city council in Baltimore, Maryland. After becoming a member of Congress, he served as the chairman to the Committee on House Administration, the Joint Committee on the Library, and the Joint Committee on Printing. Paper clip crease.
