Also signed by the company's Secretary/Treasurer and by representatives of Chatham Phenix National Bank and Trust Co and of the Irving Bank & Trust Co. The names of purchaser Walter P. Gavit added by an unknown hand. Ink notations (unknown hand) in upper margin. American theater magnate Samuel Rothafel (1881-1936), usually called Roxy, gave his name to the theater chain and also indirectly the Rockettes of his Radio City Music Hall, who were initially called the Roxyettes.
