Susan Brown (b. 1948) is an American bestselling author of romantic and thriller novels. After a dare from her husband in 1981, Brown began her writing career which would eventually encompass almost 70 novels, and more than 50 New York Times bestsellers. Her novels include In a Class by Itself (1984), Hawk O'Toole's Hostage (1988), Two Alone (1995), Hello, Darkness (2003), Smoke Screen (1998) and Tough Customer (2010). Her book French Silk (1992) was made into a 1994 television movie starring Susan Lucci and R. Lee Ermey; Brown furthermore was a contributor to Court TV"s series Murder By the Book about the murder of Betty Gore in Wylie, Texas. Normal mailing folds. Top margin creased. Slightly toned.
