Evangelisti askes Crossfield: "How do you like the movie and Book 'The Right Stuff'".Crossfield replies: "Don't know. Haven't seen the movie. I saw the play." Crossfield writes three one-word answers to questions: a request for an autograph on a cover already signed by Chuck Yeager ("OK"), if he is a good acquaintance of Yeager ("yes") and if he is in the best of health ("yes"). The Right Stuff was about the U.S. space program beginning with Chuck Yeager's breaking of the sound barrier. Tom Wolfe's 1979 nonfiction book, The Right Stuff, was made into an Oscar-winning film in 1983. X-15 pilot Scott Crossfield 1921-2006) was portrayed in the movie by Scott Wilson. Uneven right edge. Lightly soiled at lower right blank edge. Writing on verso lightly shows through. Folds, lightly creased.
