The actor signs a Payment agreement for his performance in the film Murder on the
Orient Express
Contract signed: "Sean Connery" in blue ink. 8½x11. One page. No place, May 20, 1982. In
letter form to "EMI Films Limited re: 'Murder on the Orient Express'". Only the second,
concluding page is present. Connery (1930-2020) agrees to indemnify EMI Films "against
any claims, losses, damages or reasonable costs made against or suffered by you [EMI] as a result of
your making payment under the Agreements in accordance with these instructions." The
"Schedule of Agreements" lists two documents, each concerning Murder on the Orient
Express, each dated April 29, 1974: Overseas Acting Agreement between GW Films Limited
and FPE and United Kingdom Acting Agreement between GW Films Limited and The Sean
Connery Company. Connery starred as Colonel Arbuthnot in Agatha Christie's Murder
on the Orient Express. Creased. 2 file holes and light paper clip impression at upper blank
margin. Otherwise, fine condition.
