motion picture
Document Signed: "Sean Connery", 1¼p, 8½x11, separate sheets. No place, December 11,
1981. Headed: "Billing Guaranty: Sean Connery". Begins: "This Agreement (the 'Billing
Guaranty') is entered into as of [date not filled in] between the undersigned and INFOREX
CORPORATION, N.V. ('Inforex') for good and valuable consideration the receipt and sufficiency
of which is hereby acknowledged with respect to the theatrical motion picture entitled [name not

ads…Connery's likeness shall be used therein in a size and prominence greater than that
accorded to any other individual. This Billing Guaranty shall be governed by and construed
under the laws of the State of California…." In the year he signed this document, Connery
(1930-2020) had appeared in two films: Outland and Time Bandits. The following year,
he would star in Wrong is Right and Five Days One Summer. In 1983, Connery would return
to his best known role, James Bond, in Never Say Never, a self-mocking title relating to
Connery's comment that he was through with Agent 007 after appearing in 1971's Diamonds
Are Forever. Scottish-born actor Sean Connery (born Thomas Sean Connery in 1930) won
the Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for The Untouchables
in 1987. Connery, who has appeared in a number of feature films, is best known for his
James Bond series, beginning with Dr. No in 1962. Connery next played the dapper secret
agent in From Russia With Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964, the film that made him a
superstar), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967, when he first swore he was
through with the role) and Diamonds Are Forever (1971) before briefly returning as Bond in
1983's Never Say Never Again. Among Connery's other feature films are The Great Train
Robbery (1979) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989, for which he was nominated
for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for playing Harrison Ford's father). Lightly
creased, not at signature. Staple holes at upper left blank corners. Fine condition.
