In full: "Very well -- will possibly call to your studio on Monday next about 11-30." Irish dramatist Sean O'Casey (1880-1964), who lived in England from 1926, wrote on social and political themes. He won acclaim -- and criticism -- for his early Dublin trilogy, The Shadow of a Gunman (1923), Juno and the Paycock (1924) and The Plough and the Stars (1926), which was set during the 1916 Easter Rising. Slightly soiled. Chipped at upper left blank edge. Horizontal fold crosses full signature, vertical fold crosses "ey". Otherwise, fine condition.
