Sincerely," Paul Fannin (1907-2002) was first elected to public
office in 1958 and served as the Republican Governor of Arizona from
1959-1965. Elected to the U.S. Senate (replacing Barry Goldwater when
he ran for the Presidency) he served from 1965-1977. A hard-line conservative,
he voted against the Equal Rights Amendment in 1972 and retired after
serving two terms. Lightly creased. Normal mailing folds. Otherwise, fine
condition.
