In 2000, Belafonte caused a sensation when she posed for the September issue of "Playboy" magazine. Actress Shari Belafonte (born in 1954), the daughter of singer Harry Belafonte, made her television debut on a 1981 episode of Hart to Hart, and she would go on to regular roles in several series, including Hotel (as Julie Gillette, 1983-1988), Beyond Reality (as Laura Wingate, 1991-1993) and a voice role in Hey Arnold! (1996-1997). Belafonte also co-hosted Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous (with Robin Leach) from 1994-1995. In addition to numerous made-for-TV movies, including the pilot for Hotel, Belafonte appeared in several feature films, including If You Could See What I Hear (1982, her debut), Speed Zone! (1989), Murder By Numbers (1990) and Mars (1998). Married to her first husband, Robert Harper, from 1977-1988, she was sometimes billed as Shari Belafonte-Harper. Belafonte has been married to actor Sam Behrens since 1989. Two items.
