I'm so glad you enjoyed "Streetcar". My next appearance will be for BBC TV, on 24th June - on their 'Sharing Time' series. Not quite Tennessee Williams! But fun I hope. Yours sincerely" British actress Sheila Gish (1942-2005) was born in Lincoln, England. She was a stage, film and television actress who performed for audiences from 1965 until her death. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began performing in London's West End. Her film appearances were seldom, but her most memorable roles were playing Anna in Quartet (1981), Rachel Ellenstein in Highlander (1986 ) and Highlander: Endgame (2000) and Mrs. Norris in Mansfield Park (1999). In 1996 Gish won the Laurence Olivier Award for her performance in the London Revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company (1995). She appeared in several BBC television programs including an appearance in one episode of the show she mentions in this letter Sharing Time (1984). Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
