The already large number of letters we receive from readers constantly increases, so that nowadays I find it impossible to acknowledge each one individually. Nor could my husband continue to write books- an arduous, time-consuming occupation- and cope with mail as well... I hope you will understand our situation, and- through this acknowledgement- accept thanks and good wishes from us both. Yours sincerely". Lightly toned. Normal mailing folds.
