Three members of the popular country band pen their names on this printed black and white photo
Printed Photograph signed in Ink: "Marty Raybon/Pr 3:5-6", "Jim Seales" and "Mike/McGuire". B/w, 10x8 overall, image 9x6¼ (one surface). Capital Nashville publicity photograph by Russ Harrington. Captioned at lower margin. Country band Shenandoah had signed with Liberty/Capitol in late 1994 for their sixth album, In the Vicinity of the Heart, which featured the Top 10 hits "Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart" (with Alison Krauss) and "Darned If I Don't (Danged If I Do)". Initially formed in 1985 as a house band in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Shenandoah is composed of Marty Raybon (vocalist), Jim Seales (guitar), Stan Thorn (keyboards), Ralph Ezell (bass) and Mike McGuire (drums). The group released its first album, the self-titled Shenandoah, in 1987, followed the next year by Road Not Taken, a traditional country album that was their most successful, producing six singles that reached the Country Top 10 (including No. 1 hit, "The Church on Cumberland Road"). Their third album, Extra Mile (1990), included the group's biggest single, "Next to You, Next to Me", which topped the country charts for three weeks. The group's other Top 10 hits include "Sunday in the South", "Two Dozen Roses", "Ghost in This House", "I Got You" and "The Moon Over Georgia", and subsequent albums include Long Time Comin' (1992), Under the Kudzu (1993), Now and Then (1996) and 2000 (2000) in addition to In the Vicinity of the Heart (1995). Slightly creased at blank margins. Minor surface creases (not evident head on), 1 at descender of the "J' in Jim. Otherwise, fine condition.
