Singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow (b. 1962) has won nine Grammy Awards and
sold over 50 million albums worldwide. Her music cuts across genre lines to
include rock, folk, hip hop, country and pop. She has performed with stars as
diverse as Michael Jackson, Luciano Pavarotti, Willie Nelson, B.B. King, Tony
Bennett, Sting, Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones. Already a successful
songwriter and live performer, Crow reach music stardom with her "All I Wanna
Do" (1994). Her songs are often topical, dealing with themes like abortion,
homelessness, nuclear war and gun violence. She has sung in films (including the
Cole Porter biofilm De-Lovely, 2004) and on television (including Cop
Rock, 1990; and Cougartown, 2010). Recent projects include writing
the music for the forthcoming stage musical Diner, and a country music
album for release in mid-2013. Fine condition.
