(1925-2003) was dancing away as a child in his family's vaudeville act.
Remembered as the army private who can't convince anyone that a mule can
talk in a series of six Francis the Talking Mule films (1949-1955). He
also kept dancing in, among others, Yes Sir, That's My Baby (1949) and
with Bing Crosby in Anything Goes (1956). For portraying Cosmo
Brown in Singin' in the Rain (1952), O'Connor won the 1953 Golden
Globe for Best Actor-Musical or Comedy. He won the 1954 Emmy Award for
Best Male Star of a Regular Series for his appearances on The Colgate
Comedy Hour. AVRIL GENTLES (1919-2001) won Chicago's Joseph
Jefferson Award for a revival of Our Town. Her Broadway credits extend
from Present Laughter (1958) to The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940
(1987). LONETTE MCKEE (b. 1954) is an actress of stage and film, better
known for her work in films and television. Film appearances include roles in
Brewster's Millions (1985), Malcolm X (1992), Men of
Honor (2000), and Honey (2003). Her career has spanned almost 40
years, and McKee continues to act today, one of her latest roles being in the
2012 movie LUV. Also signed by KARLA BURNS, WAYNE TURNAGE,
BRUCE A. HUBBARD (b. 1952), SHERYL WOODS, PAUL KEITH (b. 1944), RON RAINES
(b.1949) and MARY ROCCO (b. 1933). Lightly toned. Lightly soiled on bottom
