Inscribed Lobby Card signed: "To Clint/ My Best/ Shug Fisher" Color, 14x11. Lobby card for the Western Susanna Pass (1949) staring Roy Rogers. American Western actor George Clinton “Shug” Fisher (1907-1984) amassed over 80 films in his 40-year career, most notably as "Shug", member of the Sons of the Pioneers (as featured in Lights of Old Santa Fe (1944), Don't Fence MeIn (1945), and Song of Arizona (1946) among others). On television, he was known as Charlie Kern in Ripcord (1961-1963) and he also had a few recurring appearances on Daniel Boone. He was a regular guest star on Bonanza (1961-1970), The Beverly Hillbillies (1979-1970), The Virginian (1965-1971) and Gunsmoke (1962-1974). Fisher worked well into his senior years, making his final appearance in the TV series version of Harper Valley P.T.A. (1981-1982). Corners and edges gently worn. Toned. Surface creases throughout. Otherwise, fine condition.
